一、形容詞比較級的用法

1、A+be動詞+形容詞比較級+than+B

eg: I am taller than you.我比你高。

2、Which is +形容詞比較級，A or B ？A和B，哪一個更……？

eg: Which is bigger，red or yellow ? 哪一個更大，紅色的還是黃色的？

3、①“the+形容詞比較級，the+形容詞比較級” 越……，就越……

eg:the more，the better 越多，就越好

② “形容詞比較級+形容詞比較級” 越來越……

eg: bigger and bigger 越來越大 more and more 越來越多

二、形容詞最高級的用法

1、表示(某范圍內)第幾…的…，常用“the+序數詞+形容詞最高級+單數名詞”表示。

eg: The Yellow River is the second longest river in China.黃河是中國的第二長河。

2、“比較級 + than + any other + 單數名詞 + 范圍”或者“比較級 + than + the other + 復數名詞 + 范圍”， 結構雖為比較級形式，但表示最高級的含義。

eg: Shanghai is bigger than any other city in China .

= Shanghai is bigger than the other cities in China . 上海比中國的任何一個城市都大。
